People to People - Student Ambassador Program - England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales - Summer, 2006

I took a trip in summer of 2006 to the U.K. with the People to People Student Ambassador Program for about 20 days. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures.

@ThEManIsChris I'm not sure I didn't have a laptop at the time. Most hotels there had computers you could rent for like so much an hour in the lobby. I would assume you could take it, but as much as you switch coaches, ect ect, I would not reccomend taking it.

i got a letter but do have tips of how to pay the trip and do was there like any financial aid or money loans and please can you reply because my meeting is OCT 31

@ThEManIsChris It has been 4 years since I went on the trip, and when I went, there was no financial aid or loans or anything. If you did get a loan, it would have to be through your bank, not through this program.

@VivaLaBeauty22 People to People is NOT a scam. There are pictures with me at the places. It's the real deal. Sometimes parents are wrong, and in this case, your DAD is WRONG. It's not a scam. Period.

I just got a letter to go this year. We would go to Canada. But my dad said they might just be doing this to kidnap you..... Is this actaully real?Please reply. I want to show my dad that they aren't going to kidnap me....

@kairidouble12 I just got my letter tonight.. decided to do some serious research and didnt like what I saw...

I found a series of disturbing stories, most just about money returns and point blank conditions .. I went to new york a year ago with the horizons program and was looking forward to maybe seeing greece.. however it frightens me to think of what may happen after reading these. search about it, there was even a report of one kid with diabetes dying from not having proper medical help
