@Ddirtrider You dont need any maintanince exept of a chain lube and basic this lik that. The TTR series ar vry reliable. iv been riding then my whole life and it never needed anything! These are great bikes (: It really show as well becasue at the minute i have a import bike and it is crap! after every ride you need it to be fixed becasue something has gone wrong (: I hope this helps

im 6'1 would i be to tall for a ttr 230??
-
@Ddirtrider all you have to do is change the oil once a month and clean the air filter every 2 rides
-
@Ddirtrider All you gotta worry about is regular oil changes, the odd rejetting of the carburetor. thats about it!

@Ddirtrider usually it's only the pipe.
I'm interested in investing in a ttr 230. What kind of maintanince would i be looking at and what is this im always hearing about ajusting a ceartain piece on the bike when you get a new muffler?? what is that piece and where is it located.

Man, I don't reaaly know much because this test drive was last year, before the TTR was available for sales here in Brazil. Soon after this I got myself a CRF 230.
Both are great for beginners, but I heard that the Crf has got a little more options on replacement parts and general maintance.
Hope to help

@nachoalonsotoledo Since I was a kid I liked Yamaha more than the others.
Last weekend I almost bought myself the YZF 450F
Great bike!
