Phil, founder and CEO of FrameMax, discusses his modular steel frame system. Called ModPOD, the structures are built out of recyclable light gauge steel and they can be stacked infinitely. Because assembly occurs in a factory, there are energy and cost savings in construction. the primary application of ModPOD is in urban housing, where it encourages development to stack up instead of spreading out.

FrameMax has been working with light gauge steel for 15 years, only introducing it to the US in the last 8 years.
