  • ART TATUUUUUUUM!!!!!

  • Charlie Mingus? lol, you have no idea what you're talking about, go research something more cut out for you, like rock or crap, Oops! I meant rap... alot of your end people are just not that well known, some of them were not even jazz musicians, Victor Wooten for example as amazing as he is, is not purely a jazz musician

  • Charlie Mingus? lol, you have no idea what you're talking about, go research something more cut out for you, like rock or crap, Oops! I meant rap

  • where does wynton marsalis come in?!

  • this dude kinda sucks at jazz history. its even better that there isn't even jazz music playing ... godd

  • Douche, I know that these kind of greatest list is stupid, but this is beyond human idiocy. DJ in Jazz? When you think Miles in the 80's, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock's robot tone and all those 2 hours of one chords "funky jams" were bad enough. What the fuck? "Jazz is hip too you know, there's DJ now you can rave to Jazz!". Fuck DJ, "Play button" is not an instrument. What's next? Photoshop in fine art space of Louvre? And yeah, Steve Gadd (drummer...) but no way Art Tatum (God).

  • dj logic? what are you talking about? how can you put dj logic on a list and omit wayne shorter, freddie hubbard, lee morgan, coleman hawkins, ben webster, clifford brown and all the others i mentioned in my previous post? i guarantee that every single person you put on your list that is alive today would disagree with you putting them on the list ahead of any of the aritsts i mentioned. why? because unlike you, they know jazz.

  • pat metheny and john scofield before wes montgomery and django reinhardt? really? both scofield and metheny would disagree with that choice. charlie christian? kenny burrell? grant green? all more important guitarists than any you mentioned. also- charlie parker and lester young did not both play the saxophone- bird played alto sax and pres played tenor. miles played trumpet and flugelhorn. coltrane played alto, tenor and soprano sax. mingus played bass and piano. and where is sonny rollins?

  • Where is Adam Deitch? He recorded 2 CDs with John Scofield, performed with DJ Logic on and on.....................
