Set in a non-cannon Star Wars Universe, this story takes place several decades after the battle of Endor when the second Death Star was destroyed. The eponymous hero Rohacc Warrron once again goes out to retrieve the third and final crystal, this time, on the water planet of Dac (a.k.a. Mon Calamari). Little does he know, the Sith Lord Darth Névar has staged a trap in an attempt to stop the Jedi from getting this third crystal. Once all 3 Crystals are collected, Rohacc must engage in a process which could bring balance to the force or leave it horribly scarred.

The film has been in production since April 2008. With the story-line being mainly confirmed around July. Many of my 'geek' interests are apparent in this film. Themes such as 'Half-Life', 'Back to the Future', 'Resistance 2' and many others are all evident. I didn't commit to it fitting in with the Star Wars saga, more with what I was interested (or obsessed) with at the time (Hence how it ends! :P). The physics involved during the second half are completely fictional. This is the most scientifically wrong film since 'The Day After Tomorrow'. I do not care if it's believable or not, it was just the way things ended up (Amazingly, Star Trek XI did a similar thing despite coming out after I had dealt with those scenes!). I have had this film on my mind everyday for the last 20 months and am glad it's finally over. I am reasonably pleased with how it's ended up. There are so many things that could be improved, and if I had my own way, the whole cave scene would be re-filmed and voiced. It looks very crude when compared to the animation and editing nearer the end of the film. To my disgust, it is in 4:3 aspect ratio. YouTube had neither 16:9 or HD when I started making this, and I had done to much by the time they did. For some annoying reason, my camera is unable to do widescreen, so I'm stuck with 4:3. I should really invest in a new one!
The 2 years gap was very intentional. Although the film could have probably have been split into 2 different films there, I didn't want it to. I like to structure my films with a beginning, middle and an end. I honestly didn't want to cut off as the going was about to get good! As for the two years inbetween... Mini-Series anyone?!
Well, that's about all I can think about for now. I will NEVER do something as long as this again (I started out thinking it was going to be 7 - 10 minutes long).
The question a lot of people have been asking me - Yes, I have now started to think about Zelda II. It is currently in pre-production as I am still collecting up desired pieces. I will be getting 3D models built of parts I have designed on software. This will include the likes of Link's Hat, The Master Sword, etc. Lets just hope it doesn't end up 30 minutes long!
Thank you all for being so patient and encouraging me all the way.
I hope you have all had a good Christmas, and hope you have a good new year! More films coming next decade!
My Logo music at the beginning was composed by Kevin MacLeod.
How did you get a 30+ minute movie on YouTube WITH copyrighted music?!?!
