nigerian independence day party drama

the event held on oct 6 2007 got cancelled midway into the event by police. they claim that the crowd outside got violent with them, one wonders what they were doing there in the first place as there was no trouble outside. i didnt see wht happened cos i was inside, this is what i filmed when we got outside. black people were prevented from moving, but white people were let through as you can see in the clip. apparently it was cos the police malhandled someone outside that the crowd turned against them and bottles got thrown, so it was a mini riot. a shame cos the event going on inside the coronet club was completely peaceful. another 'black' event called off by police.
