I think the stage is easier on this mode just because they put enemies in the room where you swing and avoid the spikes so you can just glitch down there.

I just did this stage again. Took me 20 minutes. I could beat 7 of the 8 Robot Masters on Normal diffuculty in that time, if not all of them. This stage is beyond brutal, but damn it's fun! Not to mention rewarding once you beat it.
