Weaving a new life from a lost art
Cambodian silk making is a traditional art that has been passed down through generations from mother to daughter. But when Japanese craftsman and businessman Kikuo Morimoto found that the practice was in danger of disappearing after decades of violence in the country, it became his life's mission to revive the lost art. See it in this week's FRONTLINE/World Rough Cut.

i went on PBS.org and watched the whole segment. it's a wonderful story and cambodians like myself should be thankful that other people take interest in keeping our culture alive. i appreciate the help mr. marimoto does for the artists and silk weavers. im glad to hear that it is a success.
