NBA on NBC - 1996 Playoffs, Jazz vs Sonics, game five intro

Probably one of the best and most underrated series of the 1996 NBA Playoffs.With so much hype of the Bulls/Magic series,this series was so overlooked and it deserved better.

I hope the NBA gets its head out of its butt and returns to Seattle.

Great intro. Man I miss those times. That was a good, long summer =) I watched so many of these games from so many different hotel rooms that year traveling from New Hampshire to Florida and back. I still have my authentic Shawn Kemp away jersey

This was a great series. The Jazz were left for dead after game four, only to come back and push the Sonics not only to a game seven, but overtime of that game seven.

I loved the NBA in the 90s!

I'm a Sonics fan (on haitus until they come back) and I understand how you feel about your team being left for dead by the media in this series. We got the exact same thing from them when we played the bulls in the next round. Bill Walton is the catalyst of that crap.

You honestly think they had a chance at winning the 1996 Finals?

well im a sonics fan and i know no team had a chance but the bulls that year... we blew are title year in 94 and 96 we played as well as we could

As a Rockets fan all I can say is, go to hell Clay Bennett. Woe be unto you dealing this franchise a crushing blow.
