YACS@CIRA: Daliah Heller, M.P.H.

The Yale AIDS Colloquium Series (YACS) is an interdisciplinary academic forum for discussion of HIV/AIDS-related research and policy.

For the past thirteen years, Ms. Heller has worked in the area of substance use and community health in New York City. This talk describes her experiences as a community-based provider and policy advocate, and explores how this perspective has shaped her subsequent work in government.

Ms. Daliah Heller is Assistant Commissioner for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
