Google Maps Navigation features Street View. Visualize turns overlaid on Google's Street View imagery. Navigation automatically switches to Street View as you approach your destination.

@194kami it seems that somebody already thought of that, look for route 66 navigator... (but, last time I checked, had not been released yet...)

How about using the camera of the phone for augmented reality navigation. I mean... like drawing the path on the screen.
