It was invented by white men in the 1800s as a way to scare white women away from black men by giving them the impression black men are some kind of animalistic beasts who will rip them apart in bed (in a bad way). It's an example of a racist myth that backfired because it ended up intriguing some white women (and other non-black women) about black men instead of repulsing them.

Thats very true, but the differences is that they have no real 'power' on the big stage. Who cares is an Arab hates whites if a white person is born in Germany or America. Eastern Europeans are white, but thats in Russia or Poland. If it was like that in America or Uk, then it would have a real affect.
