You guys are complete morons! Have any of you ever trained with Jake? I have. And he has great standup. Plus, this fight was when he was a purple belt. He is now a black belt. I don't care how "good" any of you idiots are, you would stand no chance of lasting 1 minute against Jake. The guy has great skills, work ethic, and is humble as hell! I know. He's the kind of guy who would choke you out and then make sure you were ok. Talk shit to his face and then train with him. I dare you!

@canadianCHAOS Ok, you mentioned Phil Baroni, you are now cool in my book. I see what you're saying though, he's definitely not the most exciting fighter.. I just respect his skill set. I guess I just nuthug a bit too since I love the Cesar Gracie camp. I seriously hope the fight between GSP and Diaz materializes, if you want to talk exciting fighters I think Nick Diaz is as good as it gets.

@chodachampion agian thats all in BJJ and if you enjoy watching competition BJJ than thats fine. me personally i just cant stand boring fighters that everyone loves soley for their records and "how good they are" I no longer support GSP for this same reason. BJ penn can lose 8 in a row and d still cheer him, cause he comes to fight. Mach Sakurai is on a 4 fight losing skid i still support him because again the dude is exciting. no word of a lie id rather watch phil Baroni fights than Sheilds

@canadianCHAOS He's finished Leo Santos and Vinny Magalhaes, two multiple BJJ world champions. As a grappler you just have to respect that. Have you seen his ADCC matches? I think they're as technical and exciting as watching someone like Marcelo Garcia. Even in MMA, before he fought GSP he finished his last 8 out of 11 fights. I try to respect every fighters style, for example GSP ain't exciting to me but he knows how to win a fight... and I respect that

He took an Exciting fighter in MACH Sakurai and made it a boring fight just like he does with all of his fights. anything exciting in this video was from SAkurai. oh and i know bjj and mma so dont try and tell me i dont appreciate his style cause im uninformed and crap like that cause it aint true. educated and uneducated fans alike think hes dull as dirt. style interviews look everthing about thisdude

Ive been training BJJ for 4 years and have a blue belt. you mention all of his accolades but the fact is he is boring (skilled or not) he hardly ever finishes anyone with any decent Submission game. Only one dimensional Strikers. instead with good fighters he just lays on top of them....doesnt eve bother to pass or anythng
