Royal Gorge Helicopter Trip 2009

This is the helicopter trip that my aunt and uncle bought for us during our visit with them while on our Colorado Excursion. The pilot had served multiple tours as an attack helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War and it showed. I sat in the back and held the camera just as level and steady as I could. The changes in camera angle were more changes in chopper angle. When we lowered into the chasm the pilot turned the helicopter on its side and dropped us about a 1000 feet to the bottom. It was incredible and anyone making a visit to the Royal Gorge should make a point to take the trip.
