Are you kidding me? this has to be the worst TNR I've ever seen, I got how he did it while watching him tear the second piece, I didn't even try to figure it out, it's just so obvious

It's fine to vanish an item without closure (reproducing it). Often it's better. But vanishing an object that's under intense heat and really should be examined (he makes a point of having it examined several times during the trick) is dumb and any normal audience will know exactly why the routine ended that way.

Look at all the terrible magicians insisting this routine is the best because "it's impromptu". This is only the best rendition if "best" means "longest tearing phase". A decent performer could be done with a decent handling by the time this guy is done tearing up his card. I seriously doubt he's really tested this routine. If you insist on ending the trick in the worst possible way (tear up again and vanish) you might as well use Harris' handling. At least it isn't boring.
