It isn't as good as blitzball was originally. However Final Fantasy X-2 has more realistic features such as blocking in relation to the direction of the pass. People in front of you could block a pass going behind you. wtf? , blocking in mid-pass, fatigue, and training. The only way to get better at blitzball in the first one was to play in the league or tournaments NOT exhibition. another wtf. so the computer teams would always get better faster for some reason.

That's because you don't actually play the sport like you do in final fantasy X. You are managing the team not playing the sport. I agree with you though. Blitzball was ALOT better in the first one.

Yeah. I think Final Fantasy X's was greater. X-2 completely changed it (well, okay, it made it seem like it had different rules and mechanics) FFX's was more simple and fun, while this seemed rushed and unplayable.

Those "stupid things" are what makes it more realistic where in real life, sometimes a player DOES do stupid things.

blitzball in ffx-2 is plain dumb. No player control, which means sometimes the players do retarded things like pass with a 10 when the other player has 20 blk, or swim away when they have a clear shot.
There's also way too many stats to manage.
