This inside factory footage was sent to us from a retailer deep inside Australia. We had always suspected a problems with Lightforce products, as we have had many warranty issues over a short amount of time after they moved production offshore(dont let them tell you differently). Unfortanlty as of October 2010 of this year, their new USA staff of customer service deined our customers warranty claims on products that were clearly defective......... To bad cause they used to make a good light....Some have no problems, for others(including us) its a dogs breakfast.... Dawn of a new Era for sure...... Cheers

  • Problems right here in OZ. Check my video.

  • @Offroadersdotcom I have no false claims. You are the one accusing me of false claims based on assumptions and logic that is irrational. For the last time. This is not my video. My video is fully explained on my own channel. Every day here on the road I see some LF lights that are ok but equally I see defective. That is the whole point. I would still like to hear what 4 Wheel Parts has to say as you seem so sure it is their trash bin? Here is their phone number I looked up for you. 951-359-0111

  • @ashdogg1989 I think that was established a year ago. Unless the person who posted this comes forward with facts, everyone is second guessing other than it's in the USA. You will note the comment above though when offroaderdotcom started making some claims which were never followed up. Regardless of where it is, it is a bin of lights. Not saying you are but what is it with the fanboy attitude of so many? Guess LF are glad they have a lot of loyal supporters.

  • @bernardhill1. I'll stick by my observations though that plenty of LF lights suffer from the same faults. I've seen the loose reflectors, black reflectors, plastic turning white etc etc. I can't help but notice if you look at LF lights on the road how beat up so many look, faded and degraded. It's an observation is all. China cops a lot of stick for crap but as everyone knows big companies outsource all the time. I guess comes back to judge something for what it actually is.

  • this vid isnt from Australia, check the front of the bin, Australia has 8 digit phone numbers.

  • Just type this link into the search panel and look for the bloke holding a lamp, then make up your own mind about the sour grape con job this bloke is trying to pull.

ABR Sidewinder Testimonial - Lightforce Australia

  • This sounds like a CON BIG TIME, I have a set of Light Force 170 spotlights which have been on my ute foe five years and never a problem with them like the other big brands.

I travel to and from the mine sites in Western Australia so my lights get a very good work out, not like, I presume, the author of this drivel, who by the sound of it is what we used to call a Pitt Street cowboy in other words a wanna be who drives around town in his 4 wheel drive using it as a penis extension.

  • @JMCJEEP I'm not having a go at you or anything but how do you know they were defective? and how did you know they were the genuine lightforce lights. I have notice a lot of people are buying the cheaper roo light brand which look identical to the lightforce item and saying they are lightforce lights. I'm just a little worried since I have just ordered a couple of set for work cars.

  • I sure would love to jump in that bin and grab a few to use as spotlights for hunting.

Please may i have some? LOL

I have a set of 170 strikers on my hilux surf, and dont use them much, but so far no probs, they are around 2 years old.

When did the trouble start? maybe i got a good set original set

  • Why? Well because I am seeing a whole lot of hoopla and LF hype and seeing a contrary story out there. I take your point but this is about Lightforce and there is seemingly no lack of defective lights everywhere we look. Given also some early postings on here by "The Carly Simons" etc there is more to this story the more you dig. Talking to people in the 4x4 industry it is all shall we say 'very interesting'. I also think videos LF promotes showing wounded animals shot by rednecks is pathetic.

  • i think its great that your showing us defective light force lights.. but i just have a few questions??

why are you only picking on light force?? im sure every manufacturer has faults with every product... isn't this why manufacturers have warranty and recalls in place?? take toyota for instance they are meant to be one of the top companies in the world when it comes to reliability and even they have problems...

im not having a go at you... just wondering why you hate light force so much?
