What if the graphics on your mobile seemed to have real depth? Imagine tilting your mobile so you can look around corners and behind objects in the GUI to access additional information. Imagine layered GUIs where pop-up windows really pop up. With eye-tracking and the real 3D capabilities of TAT Cascades, this is now possible.

i guess it's using the camera to track the eyes?accelerometer can only guess where the eyes is, since we can operate the phone from our hand, or flat on a table.
but if that's the case, i think the reason there's no mass production is that it will cost the battery life. much like the flash wallpapers, only worse!
however, i do find this interesting, and very nice if properly implemented. would be a nice topic starter too!
"Orientation sensor" is just a marketing way of saying a gryoscope. Nothing advanced there ether, 3-axis Solidstate gyros are dirt cheap cost wise and have been around for quite awile.
this doesnt have a lot of use that i can see but it looks wonderfull and i would certainly consider buying a phone because of this feature.
But why dont pc monitors have this feature? id imagine its much easyer to implement into something big like that. would two webcams and some clever software be able to acheive this?
