I tried to solve the problem adding non-slip tape.
Any other suggestions?

  • Yes! I saw a photo on a jumping stilt blog of the heel plate (the little piece of metal just above your shoe there) hammered inward on both sides; effectively accommodating the curve and steady position of your heel during jumping. It was only a photo though and i don't know how much you want to bang up your Olympics :-/. Another site reviewing this model also gave negative mention of this phenomenon. Ironically enough I want to purchase these this very evening! Are they worth it??? I must know!
