Mariah has always been able to sing, but she has lost a certain quality to her voice she used to have in the 90's. Her belts sounded fuller and more rounded back then. Maybe Mariah changed her singing technique in order to preserve her voice, I don't know. Whatever the case, I hope she really brings it with this new record she's working on.
