can this be connected to a laptop, so that i can play my iTunes music and stuff? instead of having t burn CDs?

You can connect the audio output of the laptop into a channel on the mixer. However, you cannot control the laptop from the CDM3600 in any way.

This unit does not offer scratching. It will play standard cd's only. There will be a new unit coming out that will offer scratching and play MP3 CD's or you always have the CDMP6000 which will play cd's, usb and offers scratching.

FMSpsychotek and issacknegrito87.... I think it would beneficial to everyone if you learn how to mix tracks on your own. You'll feel more accomplished, and it's fun to learn. You can show off your skills at parties rather than feel like just another piece of equipment who choses the music but lets the technology do the rest. BORING! That could be why your comments have been thumbed down. Learn it yourself! Why be a DJ if you don't really want to.... do the DJing?

i have d cdm3600 and what a waste of money,cd 1 deck sometimes doesnt read da cd and to be honest the only good thing bout it is the mixer! its not a professional dj unit by any means sorry to say!

i bought that 2 years ago when i startet djing now its very nice for practising at home but dont use this to dj in a club cause:

no bpm counter ( you dont really need this but its nice to have)

loop function is bad there is always 1-2 seconds silence till your loop starts first time

you cant controll dj software or load tracks from your computer into your decks

Cue point function doesnt work anymore and i dont even know why -.-

but the good thing is pitching/beatmatching works nice with that=)
