Pink Slips for Congress January 17 Occupy Congress Action

On January 17, 2012, at Occupy Congress, BeYourGovernment's "Pink Slips for Congress" action was joined by activists from Occupy Wall Street and the Coffee Party USA and Occupy Washington and Occupy Congress to deliver pink slips to every member of Congress. Their termination notice informed that that as per the Constitution, their jobs expire on December 31, 2012. They were each invited to re-apply on Election Day, with "preference in hiring" given by We, the People, to those who run for office without corporate and lobbyist money.
