What's the matter with Cuba? Why is its economy a disaster, its people mired in poverty? Could it be...communism? Of course not. Cuba's dire straits are the fault of that hegemonistic entity just to the north of the Florida Straits. Oh, and Cuban youth could care less about being enslaved. Don't believe it? Ask Andrea Mitchell.
According to her the sum total of Cuba's economic woes is "a U.S. trade embargo that has lasted nearly half a century". Although Cuba is free to trade with all the 180-or-so other countries in the world, she offered not a word suggesting the brutal communist dictatorship could be to blame for what Matt Lauer had earlier acknowledged is the 50-cents per day average wage.
I was watching NBC this morning, and thought I was watching Cuban state TV. F*** Lauer, Mitchell, and all those other idiot bleeding hearts. They don't deserve to live here. I'll beat his ass if I ever pass him on the street.....

Cuba can trade with other nations of the world. US embargo is useless!

Why Cubans are so afraid to say that their lives is so miserable because of a terrible tyrant that for almost 50 years has denied the minimum freedom and prosperity to the people? Why to say that all the lack of freedom comes because of the embargo? Wasn't the embargo a good thing to South Africa before Mandela? Why is it different with Cuba? Cuba deserves to be free and prosperous, Castro and Communism must go. It is all long overdue.

Andrea Mitchell, Matt Lauer, and all the rest of the NBC News staff who went to Cuba allowed themselves to be made into propaganda puppets of the Castro regime. That was the only way they could have been allowed the access that they were given, not that there's anything RIGHT with that, of course.
