Touhou 10 - Mountain of Faith Stage 6 Normal

The final boss, Kanako Yasaka, she's not too hard exept for the knife attack which is somewhat hard to dodge, i cant imagine what itll look like on lunatic.

strangely enough, her last spellcard on the normal difficulty is harder than on easy difficulty, maybe zun mixed both of them? its still pretty hard nonetheless and it seems like its going to be the hardest final spellcard in the windows touhou series, ive seen the lunatic version and let me tell you it looks really hard.

This is one of my first tries also, this is my 3rd one on normal, so its not a super pro run, its mostly to let people see what the new stages are like ;p

I can't beat this boss on easy mode. I have the game minimized, but since I keep continuing I only get 3 lives. :S

just bomb like hell

the last spellcard is harder on easy mode than on normal though, since its harder to read how to dodge the pattern, i even have less trouble doing it on hard than on easy, but thats not for everyone..

It was my first run, gotta give me a chance there, i believe i have a lunatic run with minimal amount of bombs (if any) in my videos.

This is probably something you're tired of answering, but what software do you use to record these videos? I've been wanting to upload Touhou related stuff for a while, but Fraps is being an asshole (though that may be my fault rather than the program's).

i use fraps, if your problem is lag, there are solutions

1. Record at 60fps, touhou will slow down if you record at a lower fps

2. Use 16bit instead of 32bit

3. Record at 1/3 framerate, the game will look ugly, but it wont show on your videos, my above video is recorded in 1/3 framerate

#2 and 3 can be edited in the MoF custom.exe file

@HellsRaven4444 it's for PC and yes that would be nice but the creator is used to making them on PC every since Touhou 6. So I'm pretty sure he wouldn't do it although it would be nice.

btw anybody wondered if this could be remaked into todays consoles?

@MewWITCH112 he's playing on practice mode... you get full lives to prcatice all the strategies you want to beat the crap out of Kanako... well... that mode is in every touhou game... for playing a level in practice you have to have already beaten that level in the difficulty you want to practice...

Whoah, the last spellcard really is harder on easy than it is on normal. I can tell cuz' I just finished this game on easy today for the first time.That's probably because easy has slower bullets, so ZUN may have thought he could make those bullets loose, instead of go in lines.

Anyways great job, I'll try to become just as good as you, considering I got the game just a few days ago. xD
