Get yourself one of those heat guns, you'll be able to determine the right temp and swirl at the right time, temp is your key

@mingosan2006 hello, I try to swirl the soap right before peak time . For example, if I let the 3 colors ( in this video )sit just 2 min more, the soap would have became to thick to pour or it would have set in the glass. It takes some practice to get the timing thing down. I use to practice with my soap scraps in 1 ounce tubs until finally got it. I'm sure you will get it to if you keep at it : )

hello, u said u waited until the right time to begin swirling orthe swirls would fall firght through. can you explain this a little more. im trying to get this technique down but the 2nd color keeps falling thru. what is the consistency that you aim for?

you don't spray alcohol inbetween layers?

@TheJoesmum yes..... most of the soap I make, that have layers or embeds, I use alcohol. The only soap with layer I dont use alcohol on is cupcake soap, the top just sticks on (maybe because of the little water and liquid soap I add to it ).
