  • She is learning and i think she is doing quite well ! why did u have to give such a small rate ? have you been better 1st time when you worked with your hammer ?

  • From what I saw...she taught herself some basic techniques. Who are the geniuses wearing sandles in a blacksmith shop? Before the forge was even fired up. you should have taught her how to hold the hammer and then how to swing the hammer. Another really cool trick is to hammer on HOT steel.

  • She is hot, though my wife is prettier. These guys with sandals kill me! Are we going back to the Roman empire? Safety GEAR! Those grinders are ANNOYING! I have one and I can't stand the noise! Ear and eye protection!

  • wasting to much energy tapping the heel of the anvil after blows, & why on earth would anybody work on the heel of the anvil while drawing steel,

  • What's up with all the metal working tools in that kitchen?

  • Tare frate, felicitari. E o munca grea si din pacate prea putin apreciata. Mult noroc in continuare.

  • @ironmanforge : The only time I ever smack the hammer against the anvil is while I'm repositioning a bar, just to give my right hand something to do. The "strike work, strike anvil", afaik, is something that looked good in a movie sometime.

  • Boobs and iron is all I need...

  • Romanian kitchen?

    =P

i know it was a easy one...

  • my grandpa was a blacksmith, then a woodworker. i always loved the blacksmith work, seems real fun. but woodwork is cleaner :)

    cheers,

    jake

  • @mjr350 whatever you say.... you proved your point feel honored all better now/

  • @ironmanforge Its only my career and passion.

My first ever task as an apprentice was to turn a 25 x 12 bar down to 10mm round and then back to 20 x 10. Jumping it up as I go along. That's moving steel. Lucky for me I'd been bashing on the anvil with dad since I could hold a hammer so it came naturally. Felt sorry for the other green kids

But then again, what would I know.

Might wan't to read my comment to dikmo35 below so you know where I'm coming from with the cadence.
