Guitar Rag

Old Time slide tune written by Sylvester Weaver. Played in open D tuning DAD#FAD. The guitar is an old Supertone by Sears. Supertone was the brandname used by Sears in the 1920s and 30s - made mostly by Harmony which they owned. I saw an original advertisement for this guitar priced at $4.95 Thousand of these were sold by Sears mailorder catalog. This one is a 3/4 size

What ever guitar you can get your hands on. No kiddin', play what you got, when you got it, and keep playin' ; practice, practice and practice some more..and then,after your sure you're gonna stick with it, maybe get a nice Martin,and practice some more, but what ever you end up with, play the heck out of it!!

am i know this is off topic but since you play the guitar i want to ask you what kind of guitar should i use

am 13 and am just a beginner and i've been searching online like crazy to find out which one is more appropriate for my age i was going to buy one just like yours but am not sure if it's the right size please help
