EUROVISION 2008; Voting analysis. Was it fair?

Maps that I made, detailing how each country faired, who awarded Russia high points and which countries awarded their neighbours points. Be aware that for the last map, the highest amount of points given to a land neighbour was taken, countries without participating land neightbours aren't shown. Also, Italy, Slovakia and Austria did not participate and so are not shown.
*(For the second and third maps, black = 0-6 and 0-7 points respectively, not 0-5!!:-S)*

For the first map, ranking in the final was first taken, then for the unqualified countries I sorted them by the amount of points they received in their respective semi-final.

Feel free to discuss the voting; was it all fair? Is there anything wrong? If so, what can be done?

Eurivision is a JOKE.

My mum watched before eastern europe took part and she said it was fair and western europe voted for best songs thats all.

Now its crap....eastern eorope all vote politically its disgusting how they keep voting for each other...also their songs are totally garbage...its hilarious how bad some of their songs are and most western europeans watch now to laugh at the awful songs and the absurd cheating bias voting...Eastern europe songs are FAIL and theyre cheating bastards.

neighbors and political voting is problem but immigration is even worse just look what doing Armenia and turkey

Nitherlands, Belgium France always voting for Armenia or Turkey because armenian and turkish immigration nothing else

Germany 12 for Turkey because turkish immigration evey year

Israel always voting for Russia Armenia belarus or Ukraine because 2 milion ex-soviet liing in Israel

the voting has nothing with music
