You should also look into the history of ISTANBUL CYMBALS. One of the founders, Agop Tomurcuk, established the company with a Mehmet Tamdeger. After Agop's death, his sons (Arman and Sarkis) established ISTANBUL AGOP. (Mehmet went his own way as well and established ISTANBUL MEHMET.) I have not been able to find any references of an Armenian ethnicity, but it would seem that Agop, Arman, and Sarkis are of Armenian ancestry. Istanbul Agop also produces ALCHEMY CYMBALS. Worth checking out.

**ARMENIAN PRODUCT NEWS**: I just discovered that RICE-A-RONI was invented by an Armenian by the name of Mrs. Pailadzo Captanian. She was an Armenian Genocide survivor who, in the 1940's taught one of the makers of the Golden Grain Macaroni Company how to make pilaf which later turned it into the famous product!
