Bellisimo!!!!una voz bellisima y una interpretación fantástica

Bravissima!!

Minkowski wrote ASVO's ornamentation for her (as he does for all his singers) so its not really down to ASVO. For my money she sings these arias better. But true, these ornaments are HOT....

Thank you for the tip, Molnic! And thank you to SFO and the gods of web radio for the broadcasts!

Yes, there will be a radio broadcast on wfmt October 4th and on kdfc 11/2. You should be able to listen to those stations online. Not sure if they filmed it, I sure hope so! I was there too and what a treat to find these clips on youtube.

I was in the audience for this performance. The whole cast & production was wonderful - Graham amazing. Giovanni, your parents owe you big time for going back on their promise to take you to this! Since you are 16, I would ask for a car. Anyone know if SFO recorded or filmed this? The opera is so rarely performed and the talent in this production so remarkable, it would be a shame not to have a record.

Just read Graham is coming to Europe next year, but unfortunately only singing romantic Lieder, which I find quite boring compared to THIS HERE. Great, thx a lot for uploading OperaClips!

I'm most impressed! I've seen a couple of Ariodantes in Europe (in chron. order: Murray, Rice, Kasarova, Kirchschlager, Di Donato), some were good, some not. Heard a couple of accidents, singers/orchstra being 2 notes ahead, singing at half speed or getting on my nerves with their ticks/mannerisms (insiders know what I'm talking about haha) ... it's very rare to hear an Ariodante who gives PURE PLEASURE. Graham seems to be such a very rare case.

They denied you the finest performance you're likely to ever see in your lifetime. I got to see her debut in this role a few years back at Houston Grand Opera.

Amazing decorations in the da capo!
Thank you so much, OperClips for this one.
Now, will you please tell me where that took place; I see that it is very recent. I like this version. It is slightly slower than the one with Lorraine Hunt, so it's easier for me to sing with it (I can't say I'm nearly as good as her, but... this version is good for me).

It's San Francisco (see my playlist for more info and clips). Every tempo in that production was slower than usual...
