Your Introduction video to the diaries of a songwriter! Subscribe for all your tips & tricks, lessons and techniques in songwriting, lyric writing, chord runs and writing and melody lines.

This is is the introduction video where I give you the information about the direction of Songwriterdiaries, what will be done and how you can participate.

Currently, I will be doing 3 segments. "Songs from a window sill", "The First Steps" and "Musik Neuz".

In the "Songs from a window sill" segment, I will be covering: Songwriting Techniques, Chord Changes, Melody Lines, Lyric Exercises and much more! It will also include songs that are controlled by YOU! I will be giving you options on each song. If you don't like the options, just choose try again. :) Remember, majority wins, so make yourself heard! :)

The First Steps segment is about showing you the process that I go through when writing songs. I will be doing videos on where I'm getting stuck, what changes I'm making and what I'm doing to improve the song. I will also be breaking apart the song to show you why I decided to go in that direction. The aim of this segment is to show people how I go about songwriting and, hopefully, help others with their writing.

Musik Neuz, the last segment, is all about the happenings in the music industry. My aim is to cover a wide range of music stories. I also cover some bands that you should check out since I think it's always great to expand your musical horizons! :) I include links to everything that I cover throughout the segment too, so you can go and check out everything I've covered.

That's about everything that will be going on in the channel! I hope you enjoy each and every video that I put out. :) The channel will constantly evolve so remember to check in frequently! :)
