how bough teaching the kid some self control and to be patient while eating out

I think though it helps to plan ahead... know your restaurants... the ones that are the most kid friendly... the ones that your kids like the food.
If you know the menu and what they do and don't have there, you can prevent some of the fits.
Bring stuff to entertain the kids if they don't provide crayons and coloring. If you know the menu, you can make sure there is something your kids will eat, and some restaurants will get you eating faster... like Shoney's (buffet)
Great tips, guys!!

I like this concept - be ready with some kind of a tool box at restaurants. It will buy a few moments of peace.

Looks like a prity good thing but there is some bad things. #1 clay, are you out of your mined O.O #2 beads, OMG you know they are going to be everywere you dont want those to be. Otherwise it sounds like a good kit.

I did once end up in the ER because my daughter stuck a bead up her nose. Took us a long time to understand what she was saying.
