I owe so much to this man, as far as my music goes. I've already loved Zeppelin and Hendrix and Beatles since the beginning, but there's something about Frusciante's music, and his life, that just gives me hope. If it weren't for him, I might've gotten so frustrated trying to write music that I just quit altogether, like he did for a time. I feel this indescribable creative energy flowing thru my veins, just listening to him. Our generation's only true genius.
