Roughly 4000-4500 rpm first gear only. Bounced off the rev limiter a few times. Really just pedaling it for the show.

  • It's a manual right? What transmission did you use to convert it to a six speed?

  • @somebody118 Its a getrag from a Supra TT

  • @scotturnot Was is a direct fit or did you have to do some custom work to get it to match? Very interesting.

  • @wajalama Its a custom deal, there are som swap parts availible but then other parts are custom made. I have a thread documenting the swap on Club Lexus if you are interested I could get you there.

  • what size are those rims ?

  • @beatz32 Thos were my old 16" ccw drag rims and slicks. I have a set of Bogart 17" now to clear my 14" stoptech brakes now.

  • Don't get me wrong, I love the 2JZ-GTE and the 1UZ motors.

But you need to do some research and actually see how much technology was poured into the 1UZ. Both are similar in some aspects ( .5L per cylinder, DOHC, quad valves, etc)

Then you need to understand that the 1UZ is not just any aluminum block. Its construction is pretty much over engineered in similar ways to the 2JZ. And if you don't want 4.0L, get a 2UZ with 4.7L, which i assume Scott uses.

Anyway, Everyone has 2JZs. step up the game

  • nice i love this vid
