  • I really enjoy these videos, and we all have to make our choices, but it seems a shame not to support the organic cotton growers as cotton is a very toxic crop otherwise : >

  • @fillmystocking Great point. I did an interview with Lynda Grose of California's Sustainable cotton program. She had some great points about even just reducing pesticide use among farmers so America's cotton farmers can compete in the more organic market: faircompanies . com/news/view/lynda-grose-twocades-eco-fashion/

Though I think for me, my most sustainable- and enjoyable- way of dressing (since I don't like shopping) is to just try to curate my hand-me-downs.

  • you have more clothes than me and I am a woman who enjoys shopping.

  • @VanillaEskimo It's true he could definitely have less and uses much less of it, but he also has many pieces of clothing he's had for years. I suppose the next step would be to get rid of a few of the antiques he hasn't worn in awhile, but there are times something wears out and he shops his wardrobe.

  • lol at the "crazy colors"..in india, where i come from, women wear pink, orange, red, and blue....and that is on just one article of clothing(e.g the sari)...and oddly, it doesn't look over the top. it looks perfectly normal..
