The brave, brave anarchists of Kronstadt - let their sacrifice be never forgotten. Kronstadt Uprising was the last sparkle of libertanian revolutionary spirit that got the Russian people on the side of the Bolsheviks - only to be utterly betrayed by the elitist party that instituted a society far more oppressive and authoritarian than the Czarist system it replaced. Some 6,000 sailors against 30-50,000 mislead Red Army troops, they fought like lions. But as always, totalitarism triumphed.

It seems as if support for the ideals of the Kronstadt sailors is not in favour here, given the thumbs down on favourable comments.

Fact is, without the hard work and sacrifice of these same sailors, Komrades Lenin and Trotsky would never have had their bolshevik revolution.

Lenin went on to institute a system that was nothing more than a mockery of the idea of Soviets - the ultimate betrayal.

@TheRedRussianCossack Stepan Maximovich Petrichenko, the leader of the Kronstadt rebellion was an anarchist. Petrichenko also had a very close connection with the famous Ukrainian anarchist Nestor Makhno. Anarchists alongside the "left communists", or as you call them "true communists", were the main force against Bolshevism.

It was at Kronstadt that the last actual Communism died in the USSR... And yes, I say Communism because even though some were anarchists, they are shared the same ideal society...

@marcelo1917 Petrichenko e Kozlovsky eram anarco-sindicalistas e rebelaram-se contra o estado leninista, pelo facto de este restabelecer com o NEP , o chamado "capitalismo estatal", restabelecendo alguns aspectos capitalistas no país. Não tinhakm nada a haver com o imperialismo. A revolução foi feita contra essas medidas de Lenin, que os rebeldes de Kronstadt consideraram serem contra-revolucionárias.

Como sempre, comunistas usam argumentos idioticos, sem terem factos para os confirmar.
