We offer many ways for you to become part of our family by getting involved in the magic of island theater. Has acting on stage has always been your dream? Maybe the idea of standing under the lights gives you hives, but the prospect of working the lights or the sound system makes you smile? Are you a people person who would love to sell tickets in the box office or greet people and usher them to their seats? Does your busy life simply not leave you any time to volunteer? Then can you can help keep this nonprofit, community treasure thriving by making a monetary donation?

San Juan Community Theatre can only exist with volunteers, neighbors, and friends ready to step up and say, I want to get involved. And with our variety of volunteer and donation opportunities, we say, Welcome! Come on in!

Volunteer Vision Statement

Volunteers are the heart and hands of community theater.

SJCT strives to provide an environment where volunteers * feel welcome as part of a family/team * are adequately trained, mentored and supported * have opportunities for creativity and continuing education * are scheduled so that their time is used effectively * are comfortable expressing constructive opinions and offering new ideas * take ownership and pride in their work * are accommodated as to scheduling and personal needs * have insider knowledge as to what is happening at the Theatre * enjoy their efforts and feel that they make a difference * share their enthusiasm for volunteering with prospective new volunteers
