I think he's agood amateur he is not by any means an artist. He's got a quite average (perhaps average to good) shading technique but nothing else. You can understand it by noticing one simple thing. First he does no measurements, he just starts to draw. Even the greatest of artists do a few sketches and in every one of them there is a bit of measurements just to keep proportions right. in this dog's head the eyes are in a wrong place compared to the whole head. just look at it carefully.

Já když kreslím tak gumuju, gumuju, gumuju a obdivuju, že to někdo má v oku a je to jednoduše řečeno naprosto úžasný. :)

@maggiethelabful perfection is a hardly defined word. If by perfect you mean an exact copy of reality then I agree with you. The point though is that there are rules that help you define and express your deeper feelings about your subject -(a. don't forget art is a form of expresion, b.''rules'' are your guide to succes and not some old fashioned shit). Its going to be perfect when you will be able to completly feel this dog exactly as it is in reality by looking at the artist's depiction of it
