A compressed version of my three part rockabilly video... I get that three videos is just too many so I've squashed it all into one based on the minor pentatonic scale, adding the different degrees to get that rockabilly sound. In the end its more of a bebop styled scale, but you wont even notice! If you dig it subscribe as I plan on doing alot more of this stuff! The guitar is a Sparrow Big Daddy

    aso your right hand =)

for to copie your great pickin

  • Good stuff! Condensed into one vid is a good move. If people find it too fast they can pause/rewind bits. At the same time you won't be boring those who can keep up!

  • Cool! Checkout rockabillygone all one word

  • Very helpful Lesson, now I have a better understanding of the way the scale is developed.

    Good for practicing with.

  • Thanks mate, that was really helpful. Very clear, accurate and easy to see what you're talking about. I'm liking the rockabilly style more and more now. Would be cool if you uploaded a vid of mystery train with some improv' ideas.

  • Love it Adrian! Excellent because it is short and easy to grasp. Great job.

  • excellent...straight and to the point!...only ya didn't mention the use of just a touch of delay and reverb to get that legit tone....but no worries!...i'm stealing that lick

  • great lesson.

  • THanks! Just what I was looking for

  • Great lesson. The right amount of theory. Good pace. Relaxed teaching style. Many thanks.

  • Great Vid! It's funny how certain scales 'belong' to certain styles- this one just opened up rockabilly for me! Much appreciated-
