I've read in various places, that women's faces are considered more pedomorphic than men's faces. That is, that feminine faces tend to look child-like, while masculine faces tend to look more adult-like. Multiple sources, scientific ones. Like Stephen Jay Gould.

Now obviously there are exceptions. But... wouldn't that mean in general many gay men, liking masculine features, like tall height or a masculine face, be more into adultness, not less?
