Best known by his stage name, Loon gained recognition while signed to Bad Boy Records, where he was featured in the hit songs I Need A Girl parts I and II. Loon surprisingly quit in 2009 despite the wealth and fame he amassed over the last decade. Having never found the solace and inner peace he desired in the rap industry, Loon turned towards Islam to provide him with a purpose in life. He soon changed his name to Amir Junaid Muhadith and began to study his newfound religion while traveling across the world to inform people of what led him to his life changing decision.

what's so great about his reconversion is that, unlike many reconverts and even Muslims, he is eager to give da'wah, he is eager to learn. we all could use him as an example to turn our life around, spread the message and rehabilitate the idea people have of Islam.
