Anyone got any useful tuning tips? Having a real hard time getting the reso side tuned to same pitch on all the lugs....possibly because of the snare beds?

It sounds great in the studio! I've worked with it before and I didn't even need to EQ it.

just got this today in the mail. its just the most amazing thing in person.

I have this snare in the chestnut fade color.....Let me just say if your not used to die cast hoops they can be very difficult to tune. I have been playing drums for years, and never had any trouble tuning my previous snares with flanged hoops. The 10-lug die cast hoops on this snare are great if you know how to tune them, but its no easy task!

Tight on the snare side and moderately tight on the batter side.
