The CBS television network revised their fall 1984 "We've Got The Touch" campaign in February of 1985. The "It's Hot In February" campaign reused the graphics and music. This promo is for the Tuesday and Wednesday night comedy shows, "The Jeffersons," "Alice," "Charles In Charge," and "ER." Video remains the property of CBS, all rights reserved.

  • Yes, Clooney was added to "E/R" in mid-season (as Elliott Gould's son) to "spike" teen viewers' interests, but the series went off at the end of the 1984-'85 season.

  • Yes... the original ER, also with George Clooney!

  • Yep...Alice and The Jeffersons finished up after long runs (both had been on since the mid-70s), Charles in Charge would resurface in first-run syndication more than a year later, and E/R was a one-year wonder.

  • All 4 sitcoms that year were off the air by the end of the season.
