@PhoneJews yeah, and i bet you couldnt even come close to explaining how your CPU works, let alone create one because you cant even understand a fucking clock. people who are actually interested in engineering and curious about the world want to know about this stuff because its interesting and often leads to new ideas. thats fine though, because the latest american idol episode is much more important then this stupid bullshit.

I hate to thumb-down this but if you're going to go to the trouble of making a video about this you really should go into a little more detail. A minute and a half is not enough, the escapement alone needs more attention, it's the heart of a mechanical clock or watch. Also, the gear train is what translates the motion into a readable time display, and you barely mention that.
