Make your hatch pop open with a simple touch of your key fob

Want to make your hatch pop open without ever touching your car? This kit includes everything you need to make your hatch open with the touch of a button on your key fob. Simply replace your hatch struts, strut mounting ball pins, and stop bumpers with the included pieces. Then make an adjustment in your coding using a Vag-Com and your hatch will open automatically just by pressing a button on your key fob.

*This does require coding to operate properly.*

@HumbleNumber1 The top spoiler is the factory OEM version, the bottom valance is our own line, We have two versions available, ES250982 and ES250984.

@ECSTuningMedia Thanks! Adjusting the hatch pops did the trick. I asummed that screwing the 3mm hex all te way clockwise was it's strongest "pop" setting but backing out 1 1/2 turns ccw on each did the trick. Thanks again and this is an awesome kit for any viewers thinking of purchasing : )

@jaoliver321 It's unlocking - but is it popping past the second catch? Check your VAGCOM to make sure it is still coded properly. Otherwise, adjust your stops all the way in and slowly adjust them out, testing along the way until your hatch will pop properly. If that doesn't help, give our customer service a call at 800-924-5172 and they'll get you squared away!

My trunk pop kit has been installed for about four or five months but for about the last month it no longer pops open all the way. It will unlock and pop out about an inch but not fully open? I've cleaned around the seal and shot some WD-40 into the "poppers" but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks

@M4ciekPL Yes, that is the basic setup we use. We have not had an A3 in our shop for testing purposes as of late so it is impossible to say from a distance if it would work.

@ECSTuningMedia I assume you have been applying the same kit (gas struts from Skoda Fabia, Seat Leon ballpins and VW Scirocco's gum/plastic bumpers) in A3 8P and it didn't work... ?

I wonder, whether it's possible in A3 8P hot hatch
