"A WELL REGULATED MALITIA" Where does it say every man woman and child? The Second Amendment has been taken out fo context to the extreme I believe. And this whole idea of "I need a gun to protect myself from people with guns" is Insanity. Everyone walking around with guns.... protecting yourself from everyone... Thats a wonderful society to live in...

@AudioMayhem100 Well, we did kind of lose one war. Vietnam we lost because the Vietcong funneled as many firearms to the local populace as possible that didn't like being occupied or forced to fight against the George Washington of their nation (Ho Chi Man). We only "won" (I.E. we weren't the one who sought the peace treaty) by bombing the North to oblivion one month. As soon as we were gone, the North just rolled over the South and made the Vietnam of today.

I like the first 4 words, " A well REGULATED MILITIA" doesn't sound to me as the same thing as 'every American should be able to own a gun.'

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." The comma divides the people from the militia in that although we are aloud to have a well regulated armed militia to keep the government from taking our freedom, we the people (law-abiding citizens) shall not be infringed.

@tobypoul And America has won every war in its History. The Japanese were too chicken-shit to invade the mainland US because we had guns. And when we were just colonies we took down the biggest superpower at the time, Great Britian. If you want to keep Gun Control where you live that is just fine with me, but just remember that Nazi Germany instituted Gun Control in 1938 and by 1945 13 million Jews were massacared.Keep living in a fantasy world where you think that despotism doesnt exist anymore
