And approximately twice that many experience homelessness over the course of a year. Conservatively, one out of every three homeless men who is sleeping in a doorway, alley or box in our cities and rural communities has put on a uniform and served this country. According to the National Survey of Homeless Assistance Providers and Clients (U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness and the Urban Institute, 1999), veterans account for 23 percent of all homeless people in America

I am veteran. I climbed the ladder with the VA. I have cronic back and shoulder pain. Most vets with a medal of valor or combat badges or a PH will get all the help they need. I cannot speak for the whole nation, but in Minnesota and North Dakota a veteran never gets over looked. Contact your County Service Veterans Officer if you need help. The VA is here to help, you just need to want to get it.

It's not citizens doing this to them, it's the same guys that are using people like him as a pawn of the rich. He should have observed and objected. There is no war other than what is created to make the war lords rich and the victims suffer. Their benefits should come from the pockets of makers of war machinery, not the tax-payer.
