  • @helenrobjames Hi Helen glad you liked my video clip . . . I presume Tomtits like many small birds spend the night snuggled up with their babies on or very near the nest . Just how they all fit in such a small area is quite surprising . The parent birds did a great job and raised four chicks three boys and one girl . I was there to see them all fly away from the nest .

  • Wow that must be rewarding.

    The sleep they get must be very minimal, with babies and noises. Makes me think about birds in general, there sleeping patterns and seemingly boundless energy. Like an albatross, obviously they glide about thousands of km's but where do they sleep. On the ocean? Must be. read an an article about whales sleeping while they dive deep but somehow can't see flying and sleeping working.
