Thanks to all who supported this through the saxxys. As many of you know this video was made long before the saxxys were announced and was never really intended to be part of it. I make videos as I enjoy the process and evoking emotion. Some people consider mo cap as cheating. I see it as an easier means to acheive my goals. How you go about making the piece doesn't matter. It's the end product which does. I'm grateful for even getting nominated for the saxxys. All the winners are well deserved. Entering this was a last minute choice due to the large amount of people encouraging me to do so.

Thanks to everyone for the great feedback and comments from the various places this has been circulating around. It means a lot. At this rate i'll be jumping back into SFM soon to explore some other ideas I had.

As many of you may know I've been pretty busy as of late. But after getting an infected foot I had a bit of free time. I had a plan to do this video since TF2 first came out but I wanted to wait for Source Filmmaker to go official. 130 hours in SFM and Hammer later, here it is. As my foot healed I was getting less and less time to work on it. So I got it to a point where I was happy and just shut it down. It has it's flaws but it was a case of release now or never.

The animation work i did is pretty janky, i'm still learning a lot of this.
Most of it is kinect mo cap of myself and Zach. I barely touched it afterwards for clean up, mostly only the head and hands.

I figured i'd try these as some goals of stuff to release:

75,000 views = Making of video showing mo cap data and custom maps/perspective tricks.

2,000,000 views = New vid. Decided to start this one already. Not a direct successor as much as a spiritual one. But on a much larger scale.

I Still play TF2 quite a bit, always a demoman.

if you press "B" when disguised you take the first second or third weapon of the disguised class while holding revolver sapper or knife :)

Yeah you can change the disguise's weapon as a spy I'm pretty sure.
