When the Rolling Stones started performing, they mostly sang classic Blues songs. In the early sixties, singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards began writing their own. One of the first was "As Tears Go By". It was made a hit by Mick Jagger's soon-to-be girlfriend: Marianne Faithfull. This week she was in town to perform at the arts festival, and gave The Works an exclusive TV interview..

Marianne Faithfull's true love was drugs...I like her fine, but I lost patience with her regarding her drug use. In her book, "Faithfull" she tempts her own son with cocaine. He was 17 yrs old and more mature than his mum, as he politely declined.

she may have been addicted to illicit drugs in the past but she's on different drugs now more likely anti-depressants they can cause someone to gain weight like that. heroin addicts or speed freaks are usually skinny

Ah, how wonderful those drugs are folks.  My wife has been drug free all her life, is 62 and looks almost identical to her high school senior picture. She weighs 5 pounds less then when she graduated too.
